ILOILO City – Around half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu was confiscated in a drug buy-bust operation carried out by the Iloilo City Police Office’s (ICPO) Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay Loboc, Lapuz district on Saturday night, July 6.
The arrested, alias “Toto,” 40, and a resident of the barangay, was classified as a high-value individual.
Police seized a total of 18 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 70 grams and valued at around P476,000.
The suspect is now under police custody and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.)/PN
