BACOLOD City – Charged with murder and illegal possession of firearm, a man was arrested in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 22-year-old Daniel Melano was nabbed on Tuesday – five days after Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court Branch 55 in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental issued an arrest warrant against him.
Melano, a resident of Barangay Tagda, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, was detained in the lockup facility of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Silay.
The court did not recommend a bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
