ILOILO City – A man was arrested in NHA Village, Barangay Bacjawan Sur, Concepcion, Iloilo for possessing two replica guns and a homemade firearm.
Armed with a search warrant, officers of the municipal police station raided the house of 43-year-old Renan Gabayeron yesterday.
The raid led to the recovery of .45-caliber and .9mm-caliber pistol replicas and a homemade 12-gauge shotgun loaded with ammunition, a police report showed.
He was detained in the lockup facility of the Concepcion police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
