‘Human trafficker’ nabbed in Boracay

BORACAY – Police arrested a suspected human trafficker in this world-famous island.

The 27-year-old Kevin Martin was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant in Boracay’s Barangay Manoc-Manoc, Malay, Aklan, a police report showed.

Officers of the Malay police station served the warrant around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday issued by Judge Bienvenido Barrios Jr. Presiding Judge of the 6th Judicial Region Branch 3 in Kalibo, Aklan dated August 28, 2019.

Martin was detained in the lockup cell of the Malay police station.

The court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty. (With RPIO Visayas/PN)
