ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) has identified four high-value drug suspects as among the suppliers of street-level pushers.
Police withheld the names of the suspects, who are now the focus of operation of the ICPO’s City Drugs Enforcement Unit (CDEU) under Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Benitez.
“Sa province sila (suspects) naga-stay kay kun diri lang sila sa city, madali sila ma-arrest,” Benitez said.
Earlier, ICPO director, Police Colonel Joeresty Coronica, said there are no more existing drug groups in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district, only suppliers.
He added that drug groups in the barangay have been dismantled.
“Sa latest naton nga monitoring wala na sang drug groups sa Bakhaw. Pero ang drug personalities nga ginakuhaan sang mga street-value targets taga-dira, amo na nga nagguwa nga source of drugs Bakhaw man gihapon. Individual na subong ang baligyaanay, wala na sang grupo,” Coronica said./PN
