ICPO, IPPO seize P129.4-M drugs, nab 365 suspects in 3 months

ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) and the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) seized neutralized 365 drug personalities ang seized a combined P129.4 million worth of illegal drugs during the first quarter of 2026.

Data from the ICPO showed that from January 1 to March 31, 170 antidrug operations across the city led to the confiscation of P42.2 million worth of shabu and the arrest of 211 suspects.

Of those apprehended, 63 were classified as high-value targets (HVTs) while 146 were tagged as street-level individuals (SLIs). Two others were collared by virtue of warrants of arrest.

Police Colonel Wilbert Parilla, ICPO director, credited the success to the synergy between law enforcement and local residents.

“This accomplishment signifies that through unity, we can deliver results. Our fight will continue until we cleanse our streets of the evil of illegal drugs,” Parilla said.

For its part, the IPPO confiscated P87.2 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 154 suspects in the same three-month period.

IPPO director Colonel Bayani Razalan noted that these figures are the direct result of intensified efforts by personnel across all municipal police stations in the province.

Also, both police offices reported significant progress in tracking down fugitives. A total of 245 wanted persons were captured in the first quarter: ICPO with 97 arrests in 104 operations and IPPO with 148 arrests in 118 operations.

The Iloilo City Mobile Force Company (ICMFC) led the city’s performing units with 16 apprehensions, followed by Iloilo City Police Station 2 with 13, and Iloilo City Police Station 5 with 10./PN
