ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) seized over P10 million worth of shabu during a week-long anti-illegal drug operation.
Data from the ICPO showed that from November 3 to 9, various units confiscated 1,421.4226 grams of shabu, and arrested 26 drug suspects, four of whom were tagged as high-value targets and 12 were street-level suspects, from a total of 14 operations.
The largest drug seizure was reported by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6 (RPDEU-6) together with ICPO units, totaling 850 grams of shabu worth P5,780, followed by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) with 349.3978 grams worth P2,375,905, and Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) 6 with 100 grams worth P680,000.
Other units confiscated the following: Iloilo City Police Station 8 (ICPS8) – 32.2545 grams worth P219,330; ICPS2 – 32 grams worth P 217,600; ICPS3 – 28.0439 grams valued at P190,691.
Police Colonel Kim Legada, ICPO director, commended the unwavering commitment and dedication of all personnel involved in these successful operations.
“These results show our steadfast commitment to cleanse our community from illegal drugs,” said Legada.
