ILOILO City – Three persons were caught engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay Guintas, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
Residents Gina Santacera, 50; Adelfa Derutas, 53; and Bonifacia Dumadara, 63, were playing tong-its around 4 p.m. on Feb. 22, police said.
Recovered from their possession were a deck of playing cards and P94 bet money.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the Barotac Nuevo police station, facing charges./PN
