BACOLOD City – A man was arrested after he failed to show permit to transport lumber in Barangay Suba, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as 37-year-old resident Anging Trinidad.
Trinidad, driving a truck loaded with coconut lumber valued at around P36,000, was nabbed on May 19, the report added.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Calatrava police station’s custodial facility, facing charges.
The confiscated lumber meanwhile will be referred to the custody of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office./PN
