ILOILO – To curb the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the provincial government set additional requirements for returning residents and authorized persons outside residence (APORs) entering the province.
Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. advised concerned agencies and local government units (LGUs) to implement “additional and adjusted community quarantine measures on the regulation of inbound travel” pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force’s (IATF) uniform travel protocols for land, air and sea.
Here are the requirements for returning residents:
* approved S-Pass (Safe, Swift & Smart Passage). S-Pass is an online system which can be accessed through https:// s-pass.ph
* negative result of reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test not earlier than 72 hours before travel
* notice of acceptance/coordination from barangay/municipality of travel destination (can be secured through the municipal S-Pass focal person)
* valid government issued identification
For APORs:
* approved S-Pass (Safe, Swift & Smart Passage)
* RT-PCR negative result not earlier than 72 hours before travel
* travel order/ itinerary of travel/mission order/certificate of employment
* notice of acceptance/coordination from barangay/municipality of travel destination (can be secured through the municipal S-Pass Focal Person)
* valid government issued identification
These requirements are applicable to all returning residents and APORs “except for inbound travelers from Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal.”
“The LGUs can facilitate incoming and passing-through passengers to their localities. Visitors will be monitored by scanning their unique S-Pass quick response (QR) Code,” according to Defensor.
Meanwhile, the governor advised returning overseas Filipino workers to coordinate with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration for specific requirements./PN
