The 23-year-old accused, identified as alias “France,” a resident of Barangay San Roque, Jaro district, surrendered to ICPS9 personnel following sustained intelligence validation, surveillance, and target profiling by the station’s tracker team.
The suspect was the subject of arrest warrants issued on July 17, 2026 by the Regional Trial Court (RTC)-Branch 5 (Family Court) in Iloilo City for the following offenses: statutory rape (Art. 266-A, Par. 1(d) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by R.A. 11648), with no bail recommended, and rape by sexual assault (Art. 266-A(2) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, in relation to Sec. 5(b) of R.A. 7610), with bail set at P200,000
Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño, acting director of Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6), lauded the operating personnel for facilitating the peaceful surrender.
