ILOILO City – The No. 8 most wanted person here was arrested in Barangay Calumpang, Molo district at about 5:25 p.m. on April 27.
John Ray Abeto was a 23-year-old jobless resident of the village. He has been charged with violation of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), specifically for alleged qualified trafficking and procuring a child prostitute.
He was served with an arrest warrant by the elements of the Molo Police Station led by Police Captain Benjie Dicen, the Iloilo City Mobile Force Company led by Police Captain Roque Gimeno, deputy force commander, under direct supervision of Force Commander, Police Lieutenant Colonel Romeo Vargas.
The suspect was taken to the Molo police station./PN
