ILOILO — A barker tagged as the fourth most wanted person in this province was arrested at around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, in Barangay Zone II, Santa Barbara town.
Santa Barbara police identified the suspect as alias “Ron,” 46, and a resident of the town’s Barangay Dalid.
Officers of the Santa Barbara Municipal Police Station’s (MPS) Tracker Team carried out the arrest through the strength of an arrest warrant for murder issued on November 25, 2025 by the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region – Branch 26 in Iloilo City. No bail was recommended for his case.
The suspect is now under the custody of Santa Barbara police for proper documentation and further legal processing.
Police Colonel Bayani M. Razalan, director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, commended the swift action and professionalism displayed by the Santa Barbara MPS’ Tracker Team during the operation.
“Mainit gid nga pagpanginbulahan sa Santa Barbara MPS sa inyo madinalag-on nga operasyon nga nagresulta sa pagkadakop sang No. 4 most wanted person diri sa aton probinsya,” he stated.
He further expressed the importance of continued efforts against wanted individuals, asserting that, “We are committed to bringing them to justice so they can answer for their crimes, and in doing so, provide closure and justice for the victims and their families.”/PN
