ILOILO City – Another homegrown Ilonggo business establishment has transferred its power source from a local cooperative to power innovator MORE Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power). Iloilo Supermart at Jibao-an, Pavia town, owned by the Que family from Iloilo, successfully migrated its power line on January 23, 2026.
This marks the first mall in MORE Power’s extended franchise area to transition from its previous distribution utility.
Corporate Treasurer John Alexander C. Que led the migration ceremony, alongside MORE Power’s Vice President for Customer Care and Marketing Ma. Cristina Cabalhin, and Assistant Vice President for Network Development and Operations Eng. Christopher Serojano.
This historic milestone signifies the need for a more robust and modern distribution utility to meet the growing demands of investors in Iloilo City and Iloilo Province.

This migration stems from the bill filed by Iloilo 2nd District’s Cong. Michael Gorriceta and 4th District’s Cong. Braeden John Biron on September 20, 2021, seeking to expand MORE Power’s franchise for better, more reliable power distribution.
