ILOILO City – An Ilonggo graduate of Saint Paul University Iloilo emerged as the country’s top performer in the June 2026 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination, leading over 500 successful examinees nationwide and bringing another academic distinction to Western Visayas.
Jeremy Errol Lorenzo Saquian topped the examination with a score of 92.80 percent, according to results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
His achievement placed him at the forefront of the 526 passers out of 728 examinees, for a national passing rate of 72.25 percent.
Saquian’s performance marked a significant milestone for Saint Paul University Iloilo and added to the institution’s growing reputation for producing high-performing graduates in the field of rehabilitation sciences.
The PRC results showed that Saquian outperformed hundreds of aspiring physical therapists from institutions across the country, including graduates from the Doña Remedios Trinidad-Romualdez Educational Foundation and Our Lady of Fatima University-Antipolo.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the College of Rehabilitation Sciences of Saint Paul University Iloilo lauded its alumnus for the accomplishment.
“Your hard work, dedication, and passion have truly paid off. The entire College of Rehabilitation Sciences celebrates this historic moment with you,” it said.
The college noted that the achievement followed the institution’s Top 3 finish in the December 2025 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination, underscoring what it described as a continuing tradition of academic and clinical excellence.
Saquian is currently an incoming second-year medical student at the West Visayas State University College of Medicine.
