“NGAYON at Kailanman” star Iza Calzado is set to exchange “I do’s” with her long-timer partner, British-Filipino businessman Ben Wintle, in December.
The 36-year-old actress confirmed the month, but not the precise date, in an interview with PEP.ph. She also said the ceremony will be held on a beach, but did not reveal the exact location.
“Ben has accidentally revealed that it’s December, so I say, OK, it’s December. Ang galing ng press, e!” she said, explaining that they had intended to keep the date under wraps, until Wintle let slip the month in a previous interview.
Calzado shared that they are planning to bend a few ceremonial traditions, including the “classic” bridal look.
Describing her gown to be designed by Rajo Laurel, Calzado said: “It’s very chill, very rustic, very boho yung feels. Somewhere along those lines. I know people are probably expecting for me to look like a classic bride, but I’m at the beach!”
Calzado and Wintle have been a couple for over six years. They got engaged in October 2017. (ABS-CBN News)
