JAMINDAN, Capiz – A man was stabbed by a friend in Barangay Lapaz here on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old Leny Galagate was confined at the Mambusao District Hospital in Mambusao town. He sustained stab wound on the back of his body.
Jamindan police identified the suspect as 45-year-old Mario Fundar.
Both were residents of Barangay Lapaz.
Police said Galagate was drinking with another friend in the latter’s house when Fundar arrived and joined them.
The victim went home first but he later came back, and the suspect stabbed him for no apparent reason.
Police eyed old grudge as motive.
The suspect surrendered to Jamindan police after the incident./PN
