ILOILO City – Properties estimated to be worth P80,000 went up in smoke after fire gutted 10 bunkhouses in Barangay Tacas, Jaro district shortly after yesterday.
Based on the initial investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire began from a bunkhouse owned by Rowena Tacadao around 12:20 a.m. The blaze quickly spread to other neighboring bunkhouses.
Arson investigators have yet to identify the cause of the fire as of this writing./PN
