ILOILO City – Police arrested a wanted person in Sitio Lunok, Barangay San Pedro, Jaro district at around 10 a.m. yesterday.

Resident Rodrigo Jeruta Jr. was charged with violating Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, a police report showed.

The 53-year-old was detained at the Jaro police station custodial facility.

Officers served him a warrant of arrest issued by Acting Presiding Judge Rosario Abigail Dris Villanueva of the Regional Trail Court Branch 22 on Oct. 5, 2017.

The court set the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P150,000./PN
