Jaro sting op nets P100,000 ‘shabu’

ILOILO City – An antidrug operation in Barangay Balabago, Jaro district led to the apprehension of five suspected drug pushers, police said.

The suspects were identified as Rascid Divinagracia, John Rasser Divinagracia, Vanessa Bedua, Jeric Esponilla, and Clarence Soriao. All of them are residents of Barangay Balabago.

Suspected shabu contained in two big packs valued at around P100,000 was seized from them.

The suspects were nabbed after they conspired in selling a sachet of the suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P3,500 around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.

They were all detained in the lockup cell of the Jaro police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
