ILOILO City – A jeepney driver was clueless why a man punched him on the face.
Edgar Mesterio, 51, got himself checked at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Mesterio told Police Station 1 that he was driving his Jaro-CPU jeepney and picking up passengers at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday in Barangay Concepcion, City Proper when attacked.
A police report identified the suspected attacker as 30-year-old Kenneth Managat of the same village.
Managat, according to Mesterio, fled after the incident. He cannot be reached for comment as of this writing./PN
