THE LATEST photo of Vice President Leni Robredo that’s gone viral and flooding social media is her walking barefoot (again) in some kind of grassy field leading a group of people all wearing shoes going somewhere I suppose.

What’s notable in the picture aside from the obvious that Leni is walking barefoot is that her personal “hairdresser” Cong. Bolet Banal is just behind her wearing shoes of course.

I heard from “careless whispers” that Congressman Banal has specific duties as part of her entourage: he’s in charge of the Vice President’s hair; from washing it to styling it and massaging and caressing it in public. He also serves as the Vice President’s official background in all her “selfies.” And on top of that (hehehe, pun intended) he makes her a happy.

So people, that should put to rest all those speculations and innuendos about what is Cong. Bolet Banal to Leni; he is officially part of Vice President Leni Robredo’s entourage with specific duties. Ahay Leni!

And now to that “Barefoot in the Park” photo of Vice President Leni Robredo, she immediately stands out because she’s the only one walking barefoot when all her entourage are wearing shoes.

The first thing that comes to mind to anyone who is not familiar or does not know who Leni Robredo is that this silly woman is walking around barefoot. If this was the ‘70s then it’s understandle as a lot of hippies during the psychedelic era were walking around barefoot, had long hair, wore tie dyed clothes and beat up jeans as a sign of protest against the establishment.

But Leni Robredo is no hippie or anti-establishment, anti-Duterte yes, in fact she projects herself as a prim and proper demure “Lady of Naga.”

Another thing that comes to mind is that this woman has serious hygiene issues. Walking around barefoot in the grass is no longer “romantic” as portrayed in the movies, doing that invite a lot of bacteria, microbes and parasitic worms to your exposed feet.

And that, people, leads to some serious medical problems. I guess we can safely say that Leni Robredo is a stupid woman…wait a minute, isn’t she supposed to be a lawyer?

Why, even farmers tending their fields in Tigbauan, Iloilo walk the rice paddies wearing rubber boots as protection.

So there, we have a lawyer who happens to be the Vice President of the Philippines without any sense at all walking barefoot, a fine example for children not to follow.

That photo-op of Leni Robredo walking around barefoot completely contradicts the Department of Health and the World Health Organization that warn people, especially children, walking with your feet unprotected as this can lead to some serious health problems.

We can now safely conclude that Leni Robredo, like her late husband former Department of Interior and Local Government secretary Jessie Robredo, has a severe case of ingrown nails. Having this problem with his feet is the reason why Jessie Robredo took to wearing tsinelas. He has to wear tsinelas even outside his bedroom as his feet hurt because of the ingrown nails when he wears shoes.

Leni Robredo and her publicist saw this as an opportunity to make it seem that Jessie Robredo was one with the “hoi polloi” because of his preference for tsinelas and not Cole-Haan or Bally shoes.

And thus the tsinelas cult came to be.

Leni Robredo and her publicist decided to take it a notch higher, if Jessie could walk around in tsinelas, Leni will walk around barefoot. This is in the notion that Filipinos are not discerning and highly impressionable; well, I suppose if you are then you’ll swallow this “lock stock and barrel” but if you’re not, then you’ll just dismiss this as another Leni Robredo publicity stunt.

This walking barefoot stunt is in the same level of stupidity as her waiting for a bus in the expressway stunt. Of course, a lot of idiots bought that and these are the same idiots that posted on Facebook the hashtag “Everywoman.”

In this day and age there are women in the Philippines walking around barefoot waiting for the bus in the expressway and shagging the driver and security. It’s more fun in the Philippines!/PN
