
ILOILO City – A two-week surveillance operation led to the arrest of two suspected drug personalities in Estancia, Iloilo, who were caught with over ₱800,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust on Saturday night in Barangay Tacbuyan.
The suspects, identified only as alias “Toto Boy,” 39, of the same barangay, and alias “Biboy,” 31, of Barangay Ipil, Balasan, Iloilo, were arrested around 9 p.m. after allegedly selling a large sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover operative. They are now detained at the Estancia Municipal Police Station.
According to Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) director Col. Bayani Razalan, the operation yielded 120 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P816,000.
“The operation stemmed from information provided by concerned citizens of Estancia about the suspects’ alleged drug activities, and they were arrested after two weeks of surveillance,” Razalan said.
He praised the operatives involved for their persistence in targeting high-value and street-level drug personalities.

Authorities said both suspects will be facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
