BACOLOD City – Accused of threatening his father, a knife-wielding man was arrested in Barangay Talaban, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as 36-year-old Raymund Ta-ala of Barangay 2, Himamaylan City, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, Raymund threatened his father Rolando with a knife around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, the report added. Rolando then reported his son to the police.
When frisked, Raymund yielded two sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P2,000, five live bullets of a 12-gauge shotgun, two knives, a P40 cash, and a cellphone, police said.
Raymund was detained in the lockup facility of the Himamaylan City police station, facing charges./PN
