On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Wednesday, Kylie recounted how they first met at the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards in Dubai in November 2022, when she won an award for her film, “The Housemaid” .
“I felt bad kasi ‘yung katabi ko, tinanong siya — and that’s Steve Seagal — ‘Hi. What’s your name? Where are you from?’ So nagpakilala na ako. Sabi ko, ‘Hi, Sir Steven. I’m Kylie from the Philippines,'” said Kylie.
They kept talking that evening. “‘Tas, he invited me the next day to have coffee,” she said.
