BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect on Rodriguez Street in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 22-year-old Jayvee Porquez of Barangay 2, La Carlota City was caught around 11:45 a.m. on June 17, a police report showed.
Recovered from his possession were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing 5.34 grams. The seized suspected drugs were valued at around P64,500, police said.
Drug paraphernalia, the suspect’s phone and his Suzuki Raider 155 motorcycle were also confiscated and placed under police custody.
Porquez was detained in the lockup facility of the La Carlota City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
