BACOLOD City – The No. 3 most wanted drug personality in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental was arrested, a police report showed.
Superintendent Cresenciano Cordero, La Carlota City police chief, identified the drug suspect as the 30-year-old Emelio Jamandre.
Jamandre was caught after selling shabu to an undercover officer for P500 in Sitio Carolina, Barangay 2, La Carlota City around 12:45 p.m. on Monday, the report stated.
When frisked, Jamandre yielded another sachet of shabu, a sachet with traces of shabu, a cellphone, P300 cash, and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Jamandre was detained at the La Carlota City police station lockup facility.
He was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
