ILOILO City – A laborer charged with rape was nabbed in Barangay Matangkong, Sigma, Capiz.
The 43-year-old Mario Barrio of Sta. Fe, Pilar, Capiz was caught around 11 a.m. on May 12, a police report showed.
Barrio’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Rose Marie Manalang-Austria of the Regional Trial Court Branch 87 dated Aug. 16, 2017.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Sigma police station.
No bail bond was recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
