ILOILO – A 35-year-old laborer was stabbed in Barangay San Antonio, San Miguel town.
Jonil Galachi of Barangay 10, San Miguel died at the Aleosan District Hospital.
The suspect was his drinking buddy Alex Salarda, 47, of Barangay Agboy, Leon.
Salarda’s whereabouts were unknown as of press time. He fled after the stabbing on March 23 at around 2:30 a.m., according to the San Miguel police.
The stabbing took place in the house of a village councilman following a heated argument.
