ILOILO City – A laundrywoman was arrested in an anti-drug operation of the police at the city government’s relocation site for informal settlers in Barangay San Isidro, Jaro district.
The 41-yar-old Eveliza Galarpe yielded a sachet of shabu, according to the Jaro police station’s Drug Enforcement Unit that carried out the sting operation on Wednesday night.
Galarpe was taken to the Jaro police station. She, however, denied peddling shabu.
According to the police, they arrested Galarpe after the suspect sold a sachet of shabu for P700 to an undercover police officer.
The buy-bust operation was carried out at around 8:10 p.m.
