BACOLOD City – Live-in partners were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 3, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Cadiz City police station head Chief Inspector Rocky Desear identified them as the 51-year-old Stephen Diploma and 46-year-old Gladys Prizaldo.
Diploma is a son of former city official Nicanor Diploma Jr.
The couple were arrested after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P500 around 1:23 p.m. on Sunday on Gustilo Street.
Recovered from their possession were seven sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Diploma and Prizaldo were detained in the lockup cell of the Cadiz City police station and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
