LJ REYES and her non-showbiz husband Philip Evangelista have expanded their cookie business as they opened their own store in New York in the United States.
Reyes and Evangelista had a ribbon-cutting event to mark the occasion, as seen in a series of posts on The Village Cookies’ Instagram page. Also present at the event were Reyes’ children Aki and Summer.
“Oh it still feels surreal!!!! We are officially OPEN!!!” the caption reads.
“We are here to stay (yes???) and serve you heartwarming cookies with the biggest smiles! Thank you again so much for all the love and support!” it added.
Prior to the opening of their actual store, the former Kapuso star and her husband maintained their cookie business by operating through pop-up stores in New York since 2025.
Reyes moved to the US in 2021 with her children, then got married to Evangelista in October 2023.
Prior to their wedding, Reyes announced her engagement to her non-showbiz partner in April 2023, which happened to be the first time he made an appearance on her social media platforms since her controversial split with actor-comedian Paolo Contis in 2021.
