KOREAN actor Jung Hae-in is set to stage a fan meeting in the Philippines this year.
Hae-in’s agency FNC Entertainment announced on Wednesday, August 28, that the actor will be bringing his “Our Time” fan meeting on December 21 to Manila.
Aside from Manila, Hae-in will also be staging the event in Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul, Jakarta, and Latin America.
Hae-in previously staged a fan meeting in Manila in August 2023 for his “10th Season” tour to celebrate his 10 years in the entertainment industry.
“In my memory, Filipino fans are really bright and they have amazing smiles despite the very hot weather in the country. They have amazing energy,” he said in a past interview with ABS-CBN News.
He added: “More than being thankful, I receive a lot of energy from my Filipino fans.”
When asked how he picks the projects he stars in, the actor relayed: “More than the genre, I look for the script and scenario but if I were to pick one it would be a bright one.”
The actor is currently starring in the K-Drama “Love Next Door” alongside Jung So-min.
In the series, So-min plays Bae Seok Ryu, a woman trying to change her life after difficult times. Hae-in plays Choi Seung Hyo, the son of her mom’s friend, who she once saw as a dark and embarrassing part of her past.
It’s the first time for Hae-in to headline a romantic-comedy drama.
“I think I was very nervous at first. As always, I had to take on a new challenge, and I was a bit afraid and at a loss about this new challenge,” he admitted as he reflected on accepting the project.
The actor remarked that his co-actors and the production team helped him overcome the initial jitters. (PUSH)
