Lovi Poe landed another international project as she is set to headline the upcoming thriller film “Ignition,” alongside “Game of Thrones” star Maisie Williams.

Aside from Poe and Williams, English actor and BAFTA nominee Rory Kinnear also stars in the movie written and directed by James Erskine.

“So excited to finally share this film I’ve been working on,” Poe said on her Instagram page on Sunday, May 3, sharing a Variety report about the project.

“Oh, and by the way…the North remembers,” she added, referring to a famous line from Williams’ hit fantasy drama series. “Had to bring a little ‘Game of Thrones’ energy.”

According to Poe, the movie — which is currently in post-production — will be introduced at the 79th Cannes Film Festival this May.

“’Ignition’ follows a young woman [Sylvie Johnson] unwittingly drawn into a terrifying terrorist plot — a story of paranoia, technology, and the courage to confront the truth,” film director Erskine said of the character portrayed by Williams, as per Variety.

“I wanted the audience to feel completely inside Sylvie’s experience as events unfold, capturing a sense of immediacy and psychological pressure that builds in real time. It creates the ideal platform for Maisie Williams’ extraordinary central performance,” he added.

Further details on Poe’s role have yet to be disclosed as of this writing.

Poe, who gave birth to her first child in 2025, was also cast in the upcoming horror film “My Sister’s Bones” along with “Thunderbolts*” and “Quantum of Solace” star Olga Kurylenko. (Anne Pasajol © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
