IN her most recent vlog, Andrea Brillantes gamely read and reacted to people’s assumptions about her, from going under the knife to being suplada and not having that many friends in the entertainment industry.
“Hindi po ako retokada pero thanks for thinking that. Ibig sabihin may maganda sa mukha ko para maisip niyo na retokada ako,” said the actress.
Andrea, who is best known for her kontrabida role in Kadenang Ginto, stated that contrary to her character as Marga, she was actually considered the “loser” in her school.
“Ako ‘yung nabu-bully. Lagi nilang tinatawag na higad ako, kasi nga sa kilay ko, tsaka kasi ako ‘yung pinakamaliit… Wala akong friends,” she explained.
Being bullied in school made her shy and distant from other people. And it is because of this that some think of her as maldita and suplada.
“Ang dami talagang taong nagsasabi na suplada ako. Dati kasi sobrang mahiyain ako. Kasi nga… ako ‘yung laging binu-bully so hindi ako namamansin ng mga tao kasi feeling ko lahat sila aawayin lang ako,” Andrea explained.
She also answered the assumption that she doesn’t have many friends in the entertainment industry.
“Lumaki naman talaga akong walang friends. Hindi lang kasi importante sa akin na marami akong kaibigan. Kasi nga believe it or not, alam ko alam niyo naman na maraming plastic sa showbiz,” the actress pointed out.(Push)
