KALIBO, Aklan – A gun and several live bullets were recovered from a house in Barangay Rosario, Malinao, Aklan, a police report showed.
The house was owned by Paquito Yeban, the report added.
Officers from the municipal police station served Yeban with a search warrant around 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
The court issued the warrant in relation to Yeban’s charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Recovered from Yeban’s house were a .357 revolver loaded with four live bullets, four live bullets of a .45-caliber gun, two live bullets of a 12-gauge shotgun, four live bullets of a .38-caliber firearm, and one live bullet of a .44-caliber gun, police said.
Yeban was arrested and detained in the lockup cell of the Malinao municipal police station./PN
