BACOLOD City – A 43-year-old man from Barangay Yubo, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental was arrested on February 28.
The suspect, identified only as “Aprik”, was apprehended following the service of a search warrant at his house.
During the operation, police officers recovered a .9mm revolver with ammunition and six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.
The search warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court of La Carlota City, Branch 63, dated February 27, 2025.
The suspect is currently in police custody and faces charges for violating Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and RA 10591, the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
