BACOLOD City – For trying to steal several items, a man was arrested in Barangay Banago.
The 19-year-old resident Jupiter Valenzuela allegedly stole a belt bag, a cellular phone and motorcycle key owned by 31-year-old Jay Cartagena of Barangay San Lucas, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo on March 9.
Valenzuela tried to escape after the incident but was mobbed by bystanders, which resulted to his arrest.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 3, facing theft charges./PN
