BACOLOD City – For allegedly stealing a gas range, a man was nabbed in Barangay Zone 12-A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The suspect was identified as resident Rommel Lobrido, a police report showed.
Lobrido’s arrest came after the 47-year-old resident Allen Yandog reported to the police that his gas range worth P35,000 was missing.
According to police investigation, Yandog caught Lobrido in the act carting away the gas range around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 26, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Talisay City police station, facing theft charges./PN
