BACOLOD City – Charged with rape and child abuse, a man was arrested in Barangay Cartagena, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The 41-year-old resident Marcelo Villaro was caught on the strength of five arrest warrants around 10 a.m. on July 8, a police report showed.
The Regional Trial Court Branch 69 in Silay City, Negros Occidental issued the arrest warrants on March 11, 2015.
Villaro was detained in the lockup cell of the Silay City police station.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
