ILOILO City – A 34-year-old drug pushing suspect was arrested in Barangay Cubay, Jaro district yesterday.
Jason Villarina, a “street-level” drug pusher, according to the police, sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P1,100.
Three more sachets valued at P20,400 were recovered, police said.
Villarina later claimed that his supplier was from Barangay Benedicto, Jaro.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Jaro police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, would be filed against him./PN
