ILOILO City – Police arrested a man for violating the anti-fencing law in Barangay Sta. Felomina, Arevalo district.
He was 37-year-old resident Billy San Jose, a police report showed.
San Jose was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 23, it added.
Police served the warrant issued by Judge Gloria Madero of the Regional Trial Court Branch 29.
San Jose was detained in the lockup facility of the Arevalo police station.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P72,000 for his temporary liberty./PN
