ILOILO City – Police arrested a man for stabbing his nephew in Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district.
He was 55-year-old resident Salvador Abantao, a police report showed.
Salvador allegedly stabbed 39-year-old Wilfredo Abantao around 9:40 p.m. on Sep. 1.
Wilfredo died of stab wounds on the body, the report added.
It was not immediately established what caused the stabbing.
Salvador was detained in the lockup facility of the Arevalo police station./PN
