BACOLOD City – In Barangay Mansilingan, two persons were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation.
Elester Palmes, 27, and Romeo Bandejas, 34, initially sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P500, according to the police.
Five more sachets and P618 cash proceeds were recovered in this operation staged around 11:20 a.m. on June 13.
Police valued the confiscations at P40,800.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, would be filed against the suspects who were detained at Police Station 7./PN
