BACOLOD City – A man was hacked to death in Barangay Montilla, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
The 64-year-old resident Antonio Clarion died of hack wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as 30-year-old resident Jane Pescadero.
According to police investigators, Clarion was on his way home when Pescadero hacked him using a cane cutter around 8 a.m. on Sunday.
The motive in the incident was not immediately established.
Pescadero was detained in the Moises Padilla municipal police station’s lockup facility./PN
