BACOLOD City – The motorcycle he was driving got hit by a Mitsubishi Strada in Sitio Tuburan, Barangay Pandanon, Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 27-year-old motorcycle driver Alipo-on Ronal of Bacolod City was killed. He sustained head and body injuries, the report added.
His back rider – the 29-year-old Kenneth Candido of Cauayan, Negros Occidental – was currently recuperating at a hospital.
The crash happened around 1 p.m. on Monday.
Police identified the Strada driver as the 51-year-old Josephus Valencia of Toboso, Negros Occidental.
Valencia was placed under the custody of the Salvador Benedicto police while investigation into the incident was ongoing./PN
