ILOILO City – A police officer was hospitalized after the motorcycle he was driving collided into a car in Barangay Quintin Salas, Jaro district.
Police Officer 2 Reynante Duran, 35, of the La Paz police station was confined in the Iloilo Mission Hospital in Jaro.
Duran was wounded on the face, eyes and upper lip, and sustained scratches on the body after the incident at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
His motorcycle crashed against the Suzuki Ertiga driven by Paolo Miguel Gallinero, 24, of Jaro.
Gallinero was detained at the Jaro police station./PN
