ILOILO City – Three men on a motorcycle held up a money lending company collector in Barangay East Baluarte, Molo district, carting away P30,000 cash.
The victim, Anthony Eguia, 30, was a resident of Barangay Cabogbogan, Igbaras, Iloilo and a collector of Western Visayas Cyber Link, Inc.
According to the Molo police, the culprits also took victim’s cellphone and wallet with an undetermined amount inside.
The robbers were all wearing helmets and cruising on a Yamaha bike.
They stopped in front of Eguia, pointed a gun at him and declared a holdup.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. on August 4.
As the suspects were fleeing to an unknown direction, the police launched a hot pursuit operation but missed them./PN
