BACOLOD City – His friend stabbed him on the neck, a man told the police in Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The 31-year-old Ruben Ayola of Barangay Caliban, Murcia was rushed to the Murcia Health Unit for treatment.
Ayola and Mark Caldino, also 31 and resident of Barangay Caliban, were having a drinking session in Barangay Lopez Jaena, Murcia on Thursday when the stabbing happened, a police report showed.
Investigators said the two had an altercation.
Caldino, who used a broken glass bottle when he attacked Ayola, was detained at the Murcia municipal police station lockup facility after he surrendered, police said./PN
