ILOILO City – A division and a support unit under the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) received recognition from the National Police Commission (Napolcom).
The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division headed by Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo was cited as Best Division, Napolcom Region 6 spokesperson Allen Camering told Panay News.
On the other hand, the Regional Intelligence Unit under Superintendent Victor Rito was recognized as Best Support Unit, Camering said.
The recognitions were given during an exit briefing at the Rio Hall of Camp Martin Delgado, the PRO-6 headquarters, on June 8 that capped the annual management audit of the regional police.
Senior Police Officer 4 Abemel Obordo was acknowledged for Piso Para sa Police Noncommissioned Officer as a “best practice” that generated revenue for the organization through collections from the issuance and renewal of firearms.
Class Mandirigma, meanwhile, was cited as Most Disciplined.
Camering said the following had perfect attendance during inspections:
* Regional Maritime Unit
* Regional Retirement Benefit Unit
* Regional Communications and Electronics Unit
* Regional Special Training Unit
* Regional Project Management Unit
* Regional Crime Office
* Regional Legal Service Office
Camering said 120 police officers and two non-uniform personnel were either absent or have failed to present their firearms during inspection. They were ordered to report to the Napolcom 9 a.m. on June 20.
Napolcom conducted the annual management audit from May 10 to 17./PN
